In early 2008, the local government invited us to continue and expand our work, allocating four acres of land in Grand Bassa County by Grant Deed to the project. This is about one hours drive from the capital, Monrovia.

Our objective is to work with and alongside the local community, so that they have ownership of the project. Our other aims are to bring about a sustainable income for the community, to support a local health clinic, build maternity/birthing units and encourage teaching in basic hygiene...

We have now found a group of Midwives who are very keen to start up an HIV and AIDS awarness programme, I have attended several meetings with them and it sems to be running well.  They are asking for more literature, and we are trying to help them with this.
